Monday, Monday....

Man, do I hate Mondays or what? I had the hardest time getting up this morning. Nothing like a Diet Coke AND a Starbucks Frappucino to get me going. Yep, that is what it took. I didn't even stay up late- almost fell asleep during Big Brother. I had completely forgotten that it was on until 7:45, so my plan to create in the art studio while having Wedding Crashers on in the background went by the wayside. Big Brother is a big priority as it is the only show that I consistently watch.
With Kindergarten starting next Monday, we are trying to get Lil P into a routine which includes going to bed at a reasonable hour. I think we are going to revert back into using the super sleeper coupons again since we had success with them last year. If anything, they will hopefully end the 3,000 trips to tell us goodnight and give us kisses. Don't get me wrong, I love hugs and kisses from my boy, but when I am the one who gets to endure the waking of a cranky child, I realize that one kiss is enough at 8 p.m.
I am rpoud to announce that I logged a total of 58 minutes on the Wii Fit yesterday. I did yoga, free step and a few balance games. I think that probably 20 of those minutes were collected in trying to maneuver my way down the river in a bubble on the balance exercises. I never made it so that is on my list of things to do tonight. I was so frustrated. I also think that while trying to perfect the "tree" position in yoga, I strained the calf muscle in my right leg. The pain I felt when I got out of bed this morning was reaffirming that I am, in fact, out of shape.
I did get to spend a few minutes in the art studio this morning, since I didn't get to last night. I am really excited to start on my next project. I tried for 30 minutes to find a picture of it, but couldn't find one. It involves an 18x24 frame, picture hanging wire, lots of pattern paper circles and some photos. It looks like a ton of fun. I will post a picture when it is completed.
So, not a whole lot more going on. Ooooh, I am excited to cook my first Dinner a Fare meal tonight- Pasta Primavera with italian sausage. I will let you know how it turns out.
Have a great Monday!
