Keep Hope Alive......

Twas early in the morning
Just past twelve o'clock
Mike was downstairs
Amy sleeping like a rock

When all of a sudden
there arose such a clatter
Amy jumped out of bed
to see what was the matter

She got downstairs
to see Mike all excited
For the Red Sox season
had just been requited

Seven runs in two innings
Please say it is so
The poor Rays were left
shaking their heads saying "NO!!!"

They say it could be
the greatest come back of all
Its amazing what those boys
can do with a ball

The Red Sox season
has not ended yet
And given their history
I be willing to bet

The year 2008
just might be
the year for the Red Sox
to win #3.
